Remove the limit, hand back the headroom
Break the amplification and thermal constraints that cap what radar, communications, electronic warfare, edge compute and medical imaging can do, then hand that headroom to the engineers building those systems.
Every advanced system built on DSI
Systems that out-innovate the competition, outpace the adversary, advance the science, and stay ahead of the next unknown challenge, across defense, aerospace, space, science and industry.
Thirty years, one discipline.
Delta-Sigma started in 1995 in a private garage in Corona, California. The first contract was a 10 kW radar transmitter. In 1996 the RIGEL modular amplifier system shipped to the Peace-Link program for the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense, and it has run around the clock ever since. The company moved to Riverside and into volume production, supplying government and military customers, scientific agencies, aerospace primes, universities and industry.
Patented couplers for vector feedback, extreme-isolation solid-state switches, ultra-linear wideband systems and efficient pulse control followed, and those became the two technology bases the catalog rests on today, GhostLink amplification and CryoShield thermal management. The catalog now runs to 477 active components from 1 W to 25 kW.
Six positions we do not trade away.
An enabler, never a competitor
DSI builds amplifiers and cooling and nothing else. It bids no system primes, so the customers it supplies never find it across the table.
Engineering answers the phone
A requirement reaches the people who design the hardware. Answers come back in days, with a real technical position rather than a routing number.
Dedicated to documentation
Technical Data Packages document every component, amplifier and system to the level where it can be rebuilt from the package alone, by DSI or by a contract manufacturer.
Built to go out and stay out
Minimal returns over three decades, on remote sites and fielded platforms where a service call is not an option.
COTS is the starting point
Catalog parts are in active production, and the same proven technology tailors mechanically, environmentally and electrically to a platform or a program.
Service travels to the site
Field service and integration support, internationally, wherever the hardware sits. Emergency response is part of the arrangement, not an upsell.
Focused on compliance.
Deep documentation of every component and every system is a first-order principle here, not paperwork assembled at the end of a build. Quality control policy and organization documents, first-article inspection reports, test data and MIL-STD qualification evidence are on file and available on request.
DSI qualifies as both a small business and a nontraditional defense contractor. Products are dual use.
How can we help?
477 active components, three decades of fielded hardware, and amplification and thermal engineering that turns a hard requirement into capability nobody else can field. Bring us the problem the current chain cannot solve. Most of the time the answer is already on the shelf.
